COVID-19 & Mental Health: Video #8 – get some counselling |Get some help
Get some counselling. This is video #8 in a series I am doing on how how to have good mental health during this COVID-19 season we find ourselves in. The goal is to provide you with daily, simple, reproducible ways you can help your own mental health.
Today I want to encourage you to continue counselling or even start counselling.

Someone said to me this week that they were doing counselling through Covid but are going to stop once they get back to “real life”. I encouraged him to keep going until what he was seeking counselling for was not an issue anymore. In my house, we always talked about counselling as something common, not the uncommon. If my kids wanted to talk to someone beyond my wife and me, they could always book a few sessions with a counsellor.
Whether it be for your marriage, mental health struggles, parenting issues, or anything else you need a little help with I encourage you to get some counselling by a licensed therapist (Psychologist, psychotherapist, social worker).
One reason people go to get some counselling is in the area of mental health. If you have not seen my talk Hope for the Walking Wounded you can find it here. Click Here. This was a YouTube Live I did back in the winter.
The largest chapter in my book Parenting: Navigating Everything is also on mental health. Click here for all the ways to purchase.
