Family.
We all have one.
While some of us loved our ‘growing up’ years, others of us couldn’t wait to move out and start fresh.
Either way, we want ourĀ Future FamilyĀ to be a step up from our families of origin. Most of us want something better for our children.
But what?
When it comes to family, what does aĀ preferred futureĀ look like?
What exactly are we aiming for?
We have seen men power up and destroy a womans self image, self esteem. We have seen people belittle people to the point where they have no confidence in themselves. Criticize people to the point where they have no confidence in themselves. Shame their children so their almost afraid to be around their mom or their dad. We have seen women who have such high expectations of their daughters and their words just destroy what is going on in the heart of their daughter.
That when you want something from someone, whether its your husband or your wife, your son or your daughter, and if you want it bad enough, and you lose perspective and you dont understand the dynamic were talking about . In your desire to get what you want from them, out of them, often times you want something from them so you will feel better. Often times you want something from them so that you will feel prouder. Often times you want something from them because you think you will be happier, or more fulfilled. Whatever it is, when we want something bad enough from someone we have the potential in our desire to get what we want to destroy that other person.
